Step 1: Read the PNB Notification

Step 2: Online Registration on IBPS / PNB Portal
Register on the IBPS website (ibps.in) or pnbindia.in using a valid email + mobile number. Upload photograph (200×230 px), signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
Step 3: Fill Application Form
Choose your preferred state, post (Peon / Clerk / CSA), and exam center. Fill educational qualifications, category, and PwD (if applicable) details accurately.
Step 4: Pay Application Fee Online
Pay ₹600 (UR/OBC) or ₹100 (SC/ST/PwD/Female/Ex-servicemen) via UPI / Net Banking / Credit Card. Download the e-receipt.
Step 5: Preliminary Examination
Online prelims test of 100 marks: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability — 60 minutes. Qualifying score required to advance to Mains.
Step 6: Mains Exam → Language Test → Document Verification
Mains: 200 marks (4 sections, 160 minutes). Qualified candidates appear for state-language proficiency test, document verification, and final medical fitness check before joining.

A PNB Clerk’s starting basic pay is ₹19,900 with total in-hand of approx ₹29,000 – ₹36,000/month including DA, HRA, transport allowance, and special allowance. Senior clerks (5+ years) earn ₹38,000 – ₹46,000.
Q: Is computer knowledge mandatory for PNB Clerk?
Yes. Candidates must hold a computer course certificate of minimum 3 months duration OR have studied Computer Science as a subject in 10th/12th. The certificate is verified during DV.

There is no fixed attempt limit; you can apply as long as you meet the upper age limit. UR candidates can apply till age 28; SC/ST till 33; OBC till 31; PwD till 38–43.
